I founded our SeaLand project in 1975 with the assistance of Scripps and the Naval Oceanographic Center for the benefit of our oceans awareness and I had heard of the Navy League back then. I thought it interesting that the Navy League of the United States was founded in 1902 supported by President Roosevelt and was wondering if there is a connection with the U.S. Navy League and that of the Navy League of Great Britain. Your group provides an excellent service for the Sea Cadets and education of sea services. Keep up the good work. Captain Bob

So much going on in 2011. Do a web search for Pacific Merchant Marine Council or yours truely. The council, and it looks like its president, is definitely on the World Wide Web. All the best to everyone!

Fair winds and following seas all.

We thank the administrators of SeaFolks.com for their service to the maritime community!

The council has activities throughout the year; if ever in or about San Francisco, hail us. We are here.
