A Big Inspiration..a Bigger Smile :-)) Yesterday night i read a very interesting article about a man who has achieved tremendously through his work. He has got name, fame, reached dizzying heights of success, made millions and most of all received the love and reverence of people all around the world. I am talking about none other than Mr.Stephen Hawking, probably the greatest living scientist today. What was most heart wrenching to know about this great man was the fact that he was diagnosed by a motor neurone disease known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis at the young age of 21. In lay man' s words it meant losing mobility of your arms, legs, and even ability to speak rendering you completelety paralysed. The doctors had given up hope of his survival saying that he would not be able to live for more than 2 years. But today we all are aware of his tremendous achievements and success. His personal life was also full of turmoil with his both the marriages ending in divorce and separation. The reason i wrote this post is to highlight the endurance , will power and sheer determination of this man who conquered the physical and personal disability and survived to be an inspiration for millions. Many might argue that with a brain like his, ingenuity was bound to follow. Still many a times we have seen other mortals who are by god's grace physically and mentally able, to giv up easily and loose hope just by facing 1 failure in life. Ups and downs, failures and rejections are a part and parcel of every one s lives, we should not allow them to become the only part of our lives. We should try and face the challenges that life bring us with a big broad smile on our faces. I know its gets difficult at times, bt it was never promised to be easy in the 1st place. We should accept life in all its glory. As they say 'the show must go on' truly life' s show should always go on so dat one day wen we look back, we are able to say ' i gave my 100 percent , i did my best and i am proud of MYSELF.
